You’ve booked your Nano Brows session, and you’re excited for the transformation-beautifully natural, long-lasting brows tailored just for you. But how do you prepare to ensure the best results?

Follow these steps to get ready for your appointment:

SKIN PREPARATION

Proper skin preparation is essential for optimal healing and results. Your skin’s condition plays a significant role in pigment retention and natural, even healing.

  • 60 Days Prior: Avoid facials, PRP facials, laser treatments, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, microneedling, steroids, brow serums, or eyelash serums. Hydrate your skin by drinking plenty of water.

  • 4 Weeks Prior: Avoid all anti-aging, tone-correcting, lightening, brightening, tightening, or anti-acne products containing vitamin A, peptides, retinol, glycolic acid, lactic acid, salicylic acid, rosehip seed oil, or alpha hydroxyl acids. Use only basic skincare like Cetaphil Daily Cleanser and Moisturizer.

  • Avoid spironolactone, antibiotics, tanning, and lash extensions.

  • If you’ve had Botox, fillers, or any cosmetic procedures in the brow area, allow at least 2 weeks before your appointment.

  • 2 Weeks Prior: Avoid waxing, brow tinting, Botox, fillers, spray tanning, or electrolysis. Also avoid garlic, turmeric, fish oil, or vitamin E supplements. Continue hydrating by drinking plenty of water.

  • 72 Hours Prior: Avoid blood-thinning medications like ibuprofen, NSAIDs, or aspirin.

  • 24 Hours Prior: Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and working out.

AVOID BLOOD THINNERS

Certain substances can thin the blood and impact how well the pigment is deposited.

  • Avoid Medications such as ibuprofen or Aspirin 72 hours before. Avoid alcohol 24 hours before, and avoid caffeine the morning of to avoid bleeding.

  • If you’re on prescribed blood-thinning medication, please consult with your doctor before scheduling your appointment.

GROOMING YOUR BROWS

If you regularly shape your brows, now’s the time to take a break. Avoid waxing, threading, tweezing, or brow tinting at least 7 days before your appointment. This ensures your specialist can work with your natural brow shape and hair growth to achieve the best results.

HYDRATION & NOURISHMENT

Well-hydrated skin retains pigment more effectively. Keep your skin, especially the brow area, moisturized in the weeks leading up to your appointment.

  • Avoid over-exfoliating or drying treatments.

  • Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated.

DAY OF YOUR APPOINTMENT

Arrive with clean skin on the forehead and no makeup on or around your brow area, except for your brow makeup. We encourage you to come with your brows penciled in so we can see how you are used to having them. Avoid forehead makeup as it is our working space, and we want it as clean as possible. Wear comfortable clothing and plan for about 2-3 hours for the entire procedure. Avoid caffeine, alcohol, and working out on the day of your appointment.

CONSULTATION IS KEY

Your consultation is a vital part of the process. During this time, your specialist will:

  • Assess your natural brow shape and skin type.

  • Discuss your goals, preferences, and ideal brow style.

  • Answer any questions and ensure you’re comfortable and confident in the procedure.

AFTERCARE PREVIEW

While preparing for your appointment is crucial, following proper aftercare is just as important for achieving stunning results. Your specialist will guide you through aftercare instructions to ensure your brows heal beautifully and evenly.
